We look forward to seeing you!
Yes absolutely! Throwing an axe is fun no matter the occasion and we welcome all kinds of groups. You need to make sure you are sober when you arrive or else we won’t let you play and you won’t get a refund.
We do sell soda drinks, coffee and candy/snacks but no hot food. But there are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance from us.
We offer two lanes with two targets each and 12 player can compete per lane. There is always one instructor per lane and the session lasts 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the group. Before each session we give you a safety briefing and then we teach you how to throw the axes. When everyone has had their turn to practice we start tournament.
No, we do not encourage violence in any way, even though they are „just“ pictures. Please leave the photo at home and just enjoy your time at Berserkir in good company.
We do not have special prices but the victor will be allowed to brag about the victory. You are more than welcome to bring your own prize and crown an axe throwing champion.
Safety
Yes it is very safe as long as you follow our rules and obey your instructor at all times. Our lanes are enclosed and axes are only ever thrown when they are empty. Our instructors are always present and keep an watchful eye on the participants and the axes.
Axe throwing is an adult sport so the age limit is 16 years. If you are one of the lucky ones and look under the age 25 you will be asked for ID.
Children and teenagers under the age of 16 are welcome to our facility in the company of their parents or guardians. We require that you keep an watchful eye on your children at all times during your visit. Your children must calmly remain with an adult in the viewing area, in safe distance from the axe throwing. As there will be loud noises, such as music and cheering, we do recommend that babies and young children wear headphones to keep them calm.
You can only have alcohol after you have finished throwing axes. Axes and alcohol together is not a good idea, and same goes for drugs. If you show up drunk or under the influence of drugs, you can not participate and you won‘t get your money back. So please do everyone a favour and arrive sober and stay sober during the event.
We don‘t really mind what you wear, as long as your toes are covered in closed shoes. Flat, comfortable shoes are the best and clothes that do not restrict your arm movements.
This is a relatively low intensity sport, just like bowling, so if you feel comfortable then you can throw axes. If you have any concerns or are heavily pregnant you may want to speak to your midwife or doctor before booking.
Yes, there is plenty of fres parking in front of and close to our venue. Please do not park in the back alley though.
We only use our own axes and ask you to respect that. This way nobody has an extra advantage during a competition and everything is fair.
Bookings
We can maximum accommodate 24 people, in two lanes in a session of 90 minutes. If you want your own lane (with two targets and your own instructor) you will need to book for 12 people, regardless of how many people will show up. We will join smaller groups together to make full use of our lanes and instructors. We are all mates at Berserkir (some of them you just haven‘t met yet) so here is a chance to meet amazing new people.
Yes, absolutely if we have spaces left.
We have two lanes, each has two targets and takes up to 12 players. If you want your group to have some privacy, that is absolutely fine but you have to book and pay for all 12 tickets.
